Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal data Satueen collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet our obligations under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Who we are
This website is operated by Satueen Global Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore, at 10 Anson Road #33-03, Singapore 079903.
For any question about this policy or about your personal data, contact us at contact@satueen.com. This address also reaches the person responsible for data protection matters at Satueen.
What we collect, and why
When you place an order
We collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address. We need these to take payment, send your order to you, keep you informed about it, and meet our record-keeping obligations.
Checkout payments are processed through HitPay for the payment methods available at checkout, including PayNow and cards. We send HitPay your billing name, email address, order reference, amount and currency to create the payment request. Card details are entered through the payment provider’s checkout, rather than stored in your Satueen account. We retain payment references, status and refund records to manage your order and resolve payment enquiries. HitPay and its payment partners process payment information under their own privacy policies; see HitPay’s Privacy Policy.
When you create an account or use Satueen Circle
We keep your account email address, account details, saved addresses and linked order history so you can sign in and manage your purchases. For Satueen Circle, we also keep your points balance, points transactions, redeemed reward codes, and the related purchase or refund references. If you ask us to credit an eligible pop-up purchase, we record its receipt reference and qualifying spending.
We use these records to award points, validate and redeem rewards, adjust points after refunds, and prevent duplicate rewards. We use account and billing-email purchase history to check first-order welcome-code eligibility. Where existing Shopify customer or purchase records are transferred to this store, we use them to preserve your purchase history and verified loyalty balances and avoid duplicate welcome benefits. Creating an account does not by itself subscribe you to marketing emails.
When you subscribe to our newsletter
We store your email address, subscription date and welcome discount code in the store’s records. We use these to send or resend your welcome code and, where you have agreed, news and offers from Satueen. You can ask us to stop marketing emails by writing to contact@satueen.com, or use an unsubscribe link where one is provided. Order, payment and account-service messages are separate from marketing subscriptions.
When you contact us
Our contact form collects your name, email address and message. Our partnership form additionally collects your company name and the type of enquiry. We keep these so that we can reply and follow up.
When you write a product review
We collect the name and email address you supply, your review, and the IP address you posted from. Your name and review are published on the site; your email address and IP address are not. The IP address is retained for spam prevention.
Automatically, as you browse
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking or profiling tools. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what the site needs in order to work:
- Session and cart cookies set by our store software, which remember what is in your basket and keep you signed in through checkout. Without these the shop cannot function.
- Local storage in your browser, used to remember recently viewed products and display preferences. Recently viewed product identifiers may be sent to our website to load those products when you open the search panel. You can clear this stored information by clearing your browser data.
We do not currently enable advertising or analytics cookies for this store. HitPay and other external services may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you use their services; their privacy policies explain those practices.
Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where it is necessary to run the shop, and only with the following parties:
- HitPay and its payment partners — processing the payment methods offered at checkout, confirming payment status and handling refunds. Details are set out in HitPay’s Privacy Policy.
- Our delivery partners, including J&T Singapore, who receive your name, delivery address and telephone number in order to deliver your parcel.
- Our website hosting and email service providers, who process the account, order, enquiry and subscription data needed to operate the store and deliver service messages or consented marketing communications.
- Government authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law.
Our site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. This means your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Transfers outside Singapore
Some of the providers above process data on servers outside Singapore. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.
If you order for delivery to Malaysia, your name, address and telephone number are provided to customs and courier agents in Malaysia as part of the import process.
How long we keep it
Order records, including the personal data attached to them, are kept for at least five years, as required for tax and accounting purposes under Singapore law. Account and Circle records are kept while needed to administer your account, purchases, rewards and refunds. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe; we may retain a limited record of your opt-out to avoid sending further marketing messages. Enquiries sent through our forms are kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used;
- correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent to our use of your data, including consent to marketing.
Write to contact@satueen.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services to you, and that we may still need to keep some information to meet our legal obligations.
Keeping your data secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Card entry and payment authorisation are handled by HitPay and its payment partners; Satueen keeps the order and payment records described above. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our shop is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
